Bound in fine leather and delicately hand-stitched, this rare and unique publication is presented in a silk covered case, consisting of incredible dimensions that include a weight of 37kg, with over 800 pages and each page measuring half-a-meter square.
A host of award-winning writers, including Hugh McIlvanney, Michael Tierney and Celtic legend Jim Craig, contribute over 200,000 original words inside the Opus. Exclusive interviews and special features with Henrik Larsson, Billy McNeill, Tommy Burns, Neil Lennon, plus several other Celtic figures, bring even more depth to this epic tale.
The Celtic Opus consists of over 1,000 archive photographs, including hundreds of previously unpublished images, exclusive photo shoots, beautiful artwork and rare memorabilia, which all add to the cinematic feel of this monumental tribute. Addionally, an exclusive polaroid gallery of Celtic players, past and present, have been captured with one of the world’s largest polaroid camera’s, taken by legendary sport’s photographer Walter Iooss Jr. These images are truly unique to the Opus.
