Thanks to Celtic Collector John Home for the image of The Official match programme. John states the Official Programme was hard to obtain and seemed in short supply. Some selling points had only a few available. Price ranged from £1 to later up to £5.
There was a Club newspaper issue given out only in home areas in looked like.
John confirms about 6 pathetic / poor pirates were on sale in te city centre. One nothing more than a folded A4 black and white bit paper and the seller wanted what equated to a fiver for one.
This site will not be listing or promoting these pirate efforts. Made purely to make a buck out of collectors and of minimal quality.
I do not object to the long standing Spanish Pirates that are professionally printed and readily available AT MATCHES.
Don't get me started on the Ebay based con merchant pirate makers. My only advice is to ignore them. Buy them and they will continue. Quotes of limited edition means nothing. Limited to number of times their home printer runs one off.
